PAS 68 Classification code: V/7500/80/90:4/25 V/7500[N2]/50/90:0/0 Tested dimensions: 3m x 810mm lift The impact test was conducted to prove the arresting capability of a Frontier Pitts Terra Blocker when impacted with a 7500kg test vehicle at a speed of 50mph (80kph) Frontier Pitts have developed the Terra Blocker to meet the requirements of our customers at Airports, Embassies, Palaces, Government Institutions and Military Bases around the World. Tested dimensions: 2.5m x 1100mm lift In accordance with BSi PAS 68, a 7500kg lorry was used to act as the test vehicle and loaded with concrète blocks and fitted with test sensors, to meet the demanding spécifications for this test laid down by the DOS. On impact the Terra Blocker brought the vehicle to a complète hait with zéro pénétration onto site or past the units. After the impact the Terra Blocker remained fully functional and the operating mechanism continued to raise and lower. The Terra Blocker has also been impact tested in accordance to the US Department of State test standard SD-STD-2.01 Revision A, Certification Class K12 which has now been superseded by the ASTM standard F2656-07.
