1 Company 1980 Unimex.N.V established, location: Beringen Belgium. Initially our company started as a sales & production firm. Sales: We started as R&D-centre for thermal drilling applications and tools distributor. Production: Big companies like Peugeot and Assenburg relied on our expertise to make quality bushes with tapped thread for their most important parts as a subcontracting company. By combining these 2 activities we gained a lot of experience in thermal drilling - producing precision bushings in thin metals. 1994 It was quite natural, having this know-how and experience , we followed up during the nineties starting our own production line of Thermal drills and Cold form taps: FORMDRILL. Goal: Provide customers with high quality tools at very competitive prices and excellent technical support. Our "Formdrills" and "Formtaps" are well known all over the world, thanks to our precision tools and pricing. Our current market share is 45% 2003 New production facility with the newest CNC grinding machines and inspection tools. Goal: Higher production volume, more flexibility in design and higher quality. 2005 Goal: Increasing production capacity with new machinery (fully automatic line). Our Slogan is not just a clever phrase: "Perfection in Thermal drilling"
