The last step is to load the aggregate. The aggregate is loaded into the drum using the articulated hydraulic shovel. In so doing, the production times are considerably reduced, easily managing 3-4 cycles per hour. Production is doubled on building sites organised for direct cement loading from silos or transilos, or aggregate loading from mixed casting heaps, and a water source to ensure that the tank is always full.
