1) Single-circuit condenser e.g. SCA-6-4-914-950-3/400/50-H is equipped with SVC-I-P1-BPA for fan speed control. The condensing pressure is kept constant with PI-control.

The desired value of the condensing pressure is set via panel. The operating range of the pressure transmitter is -1...+34 bar (gauge), 4...20 mA. The pressure trans-mitter with default settings is ready-fitted at the factory. The converter supplies electricity to the fan motors only if the 'Start' signal is active. The alarm, by-pass and operational status of the unit can be determined volt-free contacts. The unit maintains the set condensing pressure value by controlling the fan speed accord-ing to operational conditions.
P1 = pressure transmitter Start/Stop = unit activation
The external signal connection (ECU, ECI on the diagram) is not needed on this example.

2) The dry cooler, e.g. SCAG-14-10-950-3/400/50-H, is provided with a temperature transmitter (T) instead of pressure transmitter (P1). The sensing element of this transmitter measures the outlet temperature of the liquid. The control parameters are set according to the required project conditions and specified dry cooler settings. The external signal connection (ECU, ECI on the diagram) is not needed in this example. Type designation is SVC-I-T-BPA.
3) In remote control the frequency converter receives the direct fan frequency value as a voltage (ECU) or current signal (ECI). In this case pressure (P1) or temperature transmitters (T) are not fitted
to the dry cooler. If the control is from voltage signal 0...10 V, the type designation is SVC-I-ECU-BPA.
