Applications Fincoil STEP CONTROL- description of operation Fincoil Step Control is intended to beused for stepwise capacity regulation ofcondensers and liquid coolers and for thestarting cycle sequencing for fans. Step Control is suitable for all Fincoil conden-sers and liquid coolers. SC -Te =Temperature control for liquidcoolers SC -Pr =Pressure control for conden-sers SC -EC =External control Features SC - Te or SC - Pr for power supply 3/380...420V and3/220...240V The signal of sensor is transmitted tomultistep thermostat or pressostat, whichswitches fans /steps on/off stepwise ac-cording to setting points. The program- mable sequence controller changes thestarting cycle of the fans/steps, eg. every24 hours. For alarming there are poten- tial free points and an alarm signal light.There are man-/auto-switches for everystep for testrunning or service. The fan supply cables are prewired through se-parate lockable safety switches to theunit. The main supply cable will be wired to the main switch. The thermostat orpressostat sensor is mounted on themanifold. degree of protection IP 65 compiles to LVD and EMC-directives CE -marked standard installation to the heat exchanger end, with extended cover tested and preset at the factory suitable for product series FA, FAG, FC, FCG, Solar, AL and ALC in FA/FAG with one fan, the fan will be controlled by D/Y-connection
