Polar Cat air coolers and Polar Cat G liquid circulated air coolers are efficient and reliable unit air coolers suitablefor cold and freezing rooms in commercial refrigeration. Units are also suitable for cooling engine and monitoring rooms. The range is constructed for refrigerants and liquids, which do not corrode copper. The fins have no dirt and frost accumu- lating cutting edges (turbulators). Fin spacing is 4 mm or 7 mm. Fins with 4 mm fin spacing are also availableof epoxy coated aluminium, which endures excellentlydiluted acid alkaline and chlorinated water (pleasecheck electric defrost capacity). The capacity correction factor for heat transfer capacity of epoxy-coated alu- minium is 0.97.The whole casing is stainless or efficiently corrosionprotected material. Casing is made of polyester coated hot dip galvanized steel, colour white NCS 1002-4. The standard models are with ceiling mounting. Bottom ofthe double drip tray is insulated and it is easily remov- able. Tray defrost is carried out with reliable low tem-perature foil defrost. Wall mounting brackets and rec- tangular flange for air duct on coil side (fan specification to be checked due to external pressure loss caused bythe duct) are available as an option. Tube connectionis on the right, seen from the coil side.A manual including installation and service instructionsis shipped with each unit.
