Liquid use Technical data of Polar Cat Junior G liquidcirculated air coolers is in accordance with that of Polar Cat Junior range of air coolers. Air cooler selection is made by Fincoil´s FD data program on basis of capacity requirement and the values of solution in use. For dimensioning following values are needed: capacity requirement, liquid, percentage, liquid temperature in/out, air on temperature and relative moisture, and max. allowed pressure drop of liquid.Performance data of standard models is given inthe figure on next page for 30% polypropylene- glykol/water, liquid temperatures -8 Applications Construction Polar Cat Junior air coolers require very littlespace and are thus suitable for e.g. small cold and subzero rooms or cabinets. Small air flow and low sound level make it possible to use them also in working places. They are suitable for evaporative refrigerants and solutions which do not corrode copper. Polar Cat Junior air coolers are designed forceiling mounting with air suction obliquely from below and horizontal air blow. Wall mounting is possible with a drip tray (A/SSA) as accessory, with air suction from the front and air blow obliquely downwards.Service is easy, because the bottom plate, onwhich the fans are fixed, is simple to remove.Finned coil is an efficient F2 -type coil made ofcopper tubes and aluminium fins (see page 1i.1.1). Standard fin spacing is 5 mm.Casing is made of plastic coated , hot dipgalvanized steel, colour white (RAL-9010). Fan guards are of HPDE plastic. Drip trays are double to prevent water condensation.All sizes can be equipped with electric defrost.Defrost heaters are made of stainless steel, inserted in copper tubes expanded to the fins. In wall mounting model the electric defrost element has been placed in additional drip tray, too (SSA). For automatic defrost system the air coolers can be equipped with necessary thermostats.
