Location

Air cooled condensers and liquid coolers shall be lo-cated in such a way that their air flow is not obstructed and that no air recirculation will occur. When selecting the installation site and the con-denser type please note, that the wind may not blow against the condenserīs air flow, especially regarding the V-models with low rpm and horizontal air flow. If necessary, separate wind shields shall be used. The actual temperature at installation site shall betaken into account in sizing. In calm and sunny weather the air inlet temperature might be even 5K higher than ambient temperature. If possible, the con- densers shall be located in shadow. In enclosed figures the minimum distances betweencondensers and from the wall are shown. If con- densers or liquid coolers are surrounded by three or four walls, the minimum distances shall be checked according to air flows.Several condensers can be installed side by sideclose to each other, if they are provided with extra high feet (F). Feet height (2 m) makes possible to move under the condensers. H-models
Service space min. 600 mm. Two narrow models canbe placed side by side close to each other. Should thewall be lower than the condenser, the minimum distance is B/2 or A/4, min. 600 mm. V-models, wall or floor mounting
If two or more condensers are installed with their suction lines against one another, their distance shall be >B. Snow space min. 600 mm; the mounting base shall be open. E 5.9 - 1.1.1997
