Installation Lifting

Condensers and liquid coolers are always in-stalled with the tubes of heat transfer section in horizontal position. The liquid tube is mounted descending from condenser to liquid receiver.External tubes shall be mounted so that theirweight or heat expansion will not strain the heat transfer section. Transmission of compressor noise or vibration to the condenser is eliminated by vibration dampers mounted in the hot gas tube.In sound technically demanding objects thecondenser can be isolated from the base con- struction by vibration dampers (S), available as optional extra, dimensioned according to con- denser weight and nominal frequency.Fan motors shall not be kept outdoors for longperiods not running. During building period or other stand-stills the fans should be allowed to run for 3…4 hours at least once a month. For this reason it is also recommended to cycle the fans´ starting sequence, when they are used to stepwise regulate the condenser capacity. As shown in the enclosed figure, a lifting rodshall be used for lifting a condenser (H-model). Correspondingly, a V-model condenser shall be lifted from one side only. The feet are delivered separately and installed during lifting.
