Operation

X1 - X2 terminals must be permanently short circuited with a jumper. When the device is supplied the ON LED lights up.The simultaneous operation of P1 and P2 push-buttons, withina max.time of 0.5 s, energises K1 - K2 relays and closes 13-14 and 23-24 P1 safety contacts. When one of thepush-buttons is released, the relays de-energise and the output contacts open.Cycle repetition (relays energising) is possible only by releasing and then pressing both push-buttons again. If and P2 are pressed with a timeinterval greater than 0.5 s, the energising of K1 - K2 relays will not be enabled and the contacts will not close. To repeat the cycle, both push-buttons must be released and then pressed again. Normally-closed contacts from the monitored machine can be connected to X1 - X2 terminals. These contactsenable operation of the two-hand device only under specific work conditions:closed guards, safety devices in place, etc. Those same terminals can be used to check proper operation of external contactors used to increase the number of contacts or their rating.
