Minimum slot Minimum slot N.B. The cam operating M1 contact must bepre-set with a minimum opening. The closing of S command must be less than the cycle time. Continuous rotation Single cycle - At pulse start - Short cycle - Single cycle - At pulse start - Long cycle - If the S command is closed, it supplies M syn-chronous motor and starts the cyclic execution of the pre-set program on the cams which ope- rate M1 and M2 contacts. If the S command is opened, it stops imme- diately the program execution in the reached position. If the S command is closed for a time equal toor longer than the minimum slot time it causes self-supply of M synchronous motor by means of M1 contact, and the start of the cycle, the opening of the contact M1 stops the rotation. N.B. The cam operating M1 contact must bepre-set with a minimum opening. The closing of S command must be less than the cycle ti- me. If the S command is closed, it causes self-supply of R auxiliary relay by means of R1 contact, and supplyng of M synchronous mo- tor by means of R2 contact. Switching over of M1 contact self-supplies the motor and de-energises R relay. At the end of the cycle, M1 contact returns to its initial position stopping the M synchro- nous motor.
Cam timers Minimum slot 1st stopstop at the initial point 1 step 1 step N.B. The maximum closing time of S com-mand must be less than required time for 1 step. N.B. The cam operatng contact M1 must bepre-set with a minimum opening. N.B. The maximum closing time of S commandmust be less than the required time for 1 step. Single cycle - Maintained command Stepper - SequentialAdvance by pulse Stepper - Sequential Advance by mainteined command If S command is switched over, it supplies Msynchronous motor by means of M1 contact. At the end of the cycle, switching over of M1 cuts off supply to the motor. If the S command is reset to its initial position, it supplies the mo- tor again which, after the minimum slot ope- ning time has elapsed, brings M1 contact back to its starting position. If the S command (CT, FC) is closed, it causesself-supplying of M synchronous motor by means of M1 contact. The motor advances the cycle up to the next notch, where M1, returning to its initial posi- tion, cuts off supply to the motor. A next pulse makes the cycle go forward by another step. The S command supplies M synchronousmotor through M1 contact. The motor makes the cycle go forward up to the next notch on the cam, where switching over of M1 cuts off supply to the motor, consequently stopping the cycle. If the S command is reset to its initial posi- tion, it supplies the motor again, making the cycle advance to the end of the notch. Next switching of S command advances the cycle by another step.
