MMS1000 FMS Kernel Overview

MMS 1000 module is the fundamental building block of MMS control system . MMS1000 alone provides working FMS system . MMS1000 module consists of: • Windows based user Interface with user friendly and easy to use functionality for master data management, process management and loading station operation. • FMS System Software that keep the automatic operation running. • Control software for stacker crane and other Fastems process devices such as loading stations • Base interfaces to external devices such as machine tools.User interfaces are split to three main windows: MMS Process GUI, MMS Planning GUI and MMS Monitoring GUI . Functionality provided by various windows of each Main GUI depends on the software options that are contained in the MMS control system. Master data management Shopfloor operator has the following options when working at the loading station MMS base data has the following parts: • Designation of fixtures that are used in machining pallets • Designation of manufactured parts and their manufacturing operations (=clampings)
