The HTFlex Band™ from Fast Heat combines high temperature performance with an innovative, easy to install design that sets new industry standards for band heater reliability and productivity.The key innovation is flexibility – HTFlex Band’s one-piece design is engineered to flex over the barrel diameters. Unlike conventional rigid designs, the HTFlex Band allows for installation and removal from any point along the barrel without the need to remove or even disturb other heaters and equipment mounted to the barrel. Compared to conventional two-piece bands, Fast Heat’s HTFlex Band eliminates labor-intensive assembly including the wiring of multiple terminations.

Uptime solution Installing or removing the HTFlex Band is a one-person operation – just flex open to the diameter of the barrel, secure the self-centering screw clamps and attach power to one set of terminal screws. The HTFlex Band can be installed or removed from the center of a series of band heaters or other installed equipment – since it flexes over the diameter, there’s no need to remove or disturb other heaters or devices – you keep on processing.
