The ruggedly constructed, high watt density (typically 90 to 95 watts per square inch, depending on the application), Hi-Temp Cartridge heaters have a swaged construction to minimise airgaps and provide excellent heat transfer efficiency and long life. This type of construction improves reliability and enables the cartridge to withstand internal temperatures up to 870
o C (1600
o F). The Hi-Temp’s ability to withstand high heat and excessive vibration makes it ideally suited for many diverse applications including: mould tool heating, heating platens, sealing bars, heating fluids, hot stamping and forming.

Based on the Hi-Temp Cartridge heater, the cartridge immersion heaters have been designed for prolonged immersion in oil or water and can be supplied in a wide range of bushing formats. These heaters can be supplied with a thermocouple fitted if required. The immersion
cartridge heaters are ideal for when a tubular style heater is too large for the application. Based on the Hi-Temp Cartridge heater, the finned
cartridge heaters have been designed for air heating applications and can be supplied in a wide range of termination formats. These heaters can be supplied with a thermocouple fitted if required.
