Universal Test Stands
The Farris Series Universal Test Stands are fully self-contained units capable of handling all your pressure relief valve testing needs. The Series includes the T6000 for air and water testing to 6000 psig and the T1500 for air and water testing to 1500 psig. Using one of these test stands allows you to maintain complete control over the quality of testing and repairs at your facility. It minimizes downtime and eliminates costly outside maintenance.
Features
• Both air and water testing.
• Tests valves with 1" to 8" raised face inlet flanges, threaded valves with 1/2" to 2" MNPT and FNPT connections. Optional ring joint adapter kits available.
• Single test station accommodates all valve sizes.
• Corrosion resistant stainless steel test drum and test table.
• Digital test gauge for accuracy and ease of operation.
• Test drum and accumulator built to and tested per the ASME Code. The test drum and accumulator volume is 1.5 cubic feet per vessel on the T6000 and 2.0 cubic feet per vessel on the T1500, both sufficient to cushion the valve during set pressure testing.
• Unit supplied with a 3-stage, air-cooled compressor rated to 3000 psig. The T6000 also features a gas driven booster pump that supplies pressure from 3000 to 6000 psig.
In order to ensure safe operation, each Farris Universal Test Stand is equipped with a pressure relief valve to prevent accidental overpressurization of the unit. A detailed operating manual is also provided. The manual contains basic instructions on correct use of the test stand and components, with emphasis on safe operation during the valve mounting and testing process.
