Text version of the page
The range of angular encoders from Fagor provides ideal solutions for applications where high accuracy angular control is critical. Fagor offer three series of angular encoders, the D90, D170 and D200 to cover a wide variety of applications. Accuracy grades range from ±5 arc-second to ±1 arc-second and mechanical designs allow various mounting options and tolerances.
FAGOR ROTARY Encoders
Fagor offer a range of rotary encoders to provide solutions for applications in which it is necessary to compliment high accuracy linear and angular positional data with velocity and positional data from rotary sources. The range offers a wide variety of line counts, signals and mounting options allowing the rotary encoders to be incorporated into a diverse range of applications.
MEASURING PROCESS
SIGNAL QUALITY
FAGOR rotary encoders use patented designs and technologies to generate high-quality signals that may be interpolated to obtain resolutions of up to 0.00005°. This allows the encoders to provide high positional control which is only possible with optical technology.
Photo detectors
Graticule
FAGOR rotary and angular encoders use a transmission process whereby infrared light is transmitted through a graduated glass disk.
