FAGOR EXPOSED linear encoders
FAGOR exposed linear encoders offer high accuracy solutions for high speed applications. The main factors which determine this are:
• The scales are non contact and of reduced dimensions.
• Signals are generated using an optically reflective, single field system.
These aspects make them ideal for applications where accuracy, speed and dynamic characteristics are essential factors for succesful operation of the system.
FEATURES
• Electronics built into the reader head.
• Synchronised optical reference mark (lo).
• Single-window scanning.
• Several reference-mark options.
• Compact reader head.
• Excellent dynamic characteristics.
• Several mounting options.
• High immunity against electrical noise.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
FORMATS
FAGOR exposed linear encoders come in three formats:
• Adhesive steel tape.
• Tape on aluminum guide.
• Tensioned steel tape.
FAGOR exposed linear encoders use a reflective, single field scanning process whereby infrared light is reflected off a graduated steel
scale.
