3922003 06.06 Product Information VENTING DESIGN SOLUTIONS EXHAUSTO Grease Ventilator GSB Description EXHAUSTO GSB Grease Ventilator is specifically configured for food service applications. It has direct drive and variable speed for easy air balancing and can be mounted on its back directly on a curb, where only an optional curb cap and a discharge elbow are required. Alternatively, it can be installed free-standing on a roof and attached to a curb using an integral inlet box. The GSB is a high-efficiency ventilator with backward inclined centrifugal impellers. It is totally insulated against sound and condensation. The ventilator housing is made of galvanized steel, while the impellers are made of cast aluminum. Impellers are balanced with permanently attached balancing weight. The ventilator is equipped with an energy-efficient, totally enclosed, variable speed motor. A service door provides easy access to the motor and impeller. It can be dismounted with motor and impeller in case service is to be performed at a different location. This also makes for easy cleaning and maintenance. The GSB Grease Ventilator is listed to operate at a constant temperature of 482°F and an intermittent temperature of 575°F. Material The housing is made of galvanized steel and insulated with fiber mats. Impeller is made of cast aluminum and balanced with permanently attached balancing weights. Motor Commercial grade, totally enclosed, IP54 Protection Class. Sealed ball bearings. Thermal overload protection. GSB 250: 1 x 120V, variable speed, split capacitor, Class H insulated. GSB 315-500: 3 x 230/460V, Variable Speed, Class B insulated Standard Equipment Slip connections with silicone seals.
