KRA Water chillers
www.eurodifroid.fr
KRA water chillers, in conformity to CE standards, can be used to cool process and machines. Hydraulical and electrical
connections, as well as maintenance have been simplified to the maximum, for easier installation and use.
These chillers are standard equiped with insulated tank with cover and circulating pump. In order to follow user’s
need, many alternatives and options are available.
The range of application’s temperature goes from +5°C to +20°C (standard), with possibility to extend from - 30°C
to + 40°C, according to request.
Ambient conditions lie between +10°C and +40°C. For specific applications, limits can be
extended (for example - 20°C to +55°C).
Hermetic compressor
Regulation via electronic

Refrigerant R407C (KRA 90 to 500)
Refrigerant R134a (KRA 10 to 70)
Immerged copper evaporator
(KRA 19 to 70)
Differential pressure switch to
protect plate heat exchanger
(KRA 90 to 500)
Peripheric circulation pump
(KRA 10 to 70)
Centrifugical circulation pump
(KRA 90 to 500)
Viton gasket
Insulated stainless steel tank

• KRA...D
Direct expansion
(without tank and without pump)
• KRA...DP
Direct expansion and pump
(without tank)
High pressure pumps
Flow controller
Low temperatures (-30°C)
Draw a vertical line from the requested water outlet temperature
to the maximum ambient temperature of the room
where the chiller is located.
This will give you an intersection point A.
Draw an horizontal line from the point A to the cooling
capacity curve.
This will give you an intersection point B.
From this point B, draw another vertical line to meet the
cooling capacity correction factor.
Then, the cooling capacity of a KRA 70 at 20°C
water outlet temperature, 32°C ambient temperature will
be :
7 x 1,14 = 7,41 kW
(7 = cooling capacity indicated on the opposite table)
