UPEN offers a whole range of cables and connectors for airport lighting networks.The airport lighting cables are manufactured according to FAA or any other standards. The following screened or unscreened cables are available in all voltage levels :

PLUGS AND CONNECTORS

In adaptation to the a.m. cables and in accordance to the FAA standards, the highvoltage plugs and connectors are available in 2 different models : Type CKE 52: This high voltage connector has a worldwide reputation thanksto its excellent reliability.On the construction site, it can be connected to any cable type up to 10 sq. mm resp. AWG 7. It is filled with a fast curing resin which gives the guarantee of complete dielectic strength and water tightness. Type CKE 152: The high voltage connector CKE 152 is mounted by its slipping on the cable end. Its special merits are small dimensions, excellent tightness and perfect dielectric strength. A new technique permits to bond these connectors to cables of all types and to deliver factory-prepared cables of any length. The CKE 152 can be fitted on cables with : - a diameter over insulation between 7,1 and 10 mm. - an outside diameter between 7,5 and 12 mm. Common characteristics of the EUPEN high voltage plugs and connectors : The design of the CKE 52 and CKE 152 guarantees perfect sealing due to their seamless construction in the critical connection area.All those connectors can be fitted on both screened or unscreened cables.
