Standards and approvals Standards Hand-held pendant stations must comply with the requirements of the EMC directive 2004/108/EEC. The EMC directive has been implemented in national law in the EU member states and, as a result, is binding for all manufacturers. Detailed requirements on EMC are defined in EN 61000 (Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)) part 6-2 and 6-4. If the requirements of this standard are met, conformity with the applicable laws and therefore with the EMC directive is assumed.
