| | | In December 2002. ETS-Lindgren became the first CTIA Authorized Test Lab (CATL) for mobile station radiated performance testing. Wireless devices are required to be lested by a CATL using the CTIA's Radiated Power test procedure to receive a Certification Seal. ETS-Llndgren's CATL approval followed several months of extensive work with the CTIA's Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other members of the ERP Ad-Hoc Working Group to develop a new site evaluation test procedure and an associated uncertainty calculation. This work provides ETS-Lindgren with intimate knowledge of CATL requirements. While ETS-Lindgren provides test services, the company's focus is on the manufacturing and marketing of the antenna measurement system used in its test lab. Named the | | AMS™-8000 System, the turnkey package consists of a tapered or rectangular anechoic chamber, a Multi-Axis Positioning System (MAPS™), EMQuest™ EMQ-100 Pattern Measurement Software, and a variety of optional test equipment configurations. More than a dozen AMS-8000 systems have been The EMQuest EMQ-100 Pattern Measurement Software supports the latest CTIA requirements for radiated power measurement, and provides a number of CTIA specific features and optimizations to reduce test time. Powerful data acquisition, post processing, 2-D and 3-D graphing, and report generation capabilities make the software extremely versatile. METS-UNDGREN | | |
