We build motor-gear combinations from our extensive range of gear boxes:

■ angular gear boxes (worm gears or bevel gears with low backlash)

Gears of different design with one or more stages are used to adapt the motor (speed, torque, and moment of inertia) to the machine. Gears for servo applications have low torsional backlash and high torsional rigidity (stiffness).

During drive system configuration we recommend a suitable gear box for your application if neces­sary. In specific cases special gears like change-speed gears, particular slim gear boxes, or low-noise gears can bes used instead of the gear types mentioned here.
