Applications
Caddy™ Tig 2200i AC/DC
For the craftsmen and a wide range of repair and
maintenance applications
The Caddy™ is already a classic power source in the
mobile welding equipment field. With the introduction of the
Caddy™ Tig 2200i AC/DC series and a full range of
accessories, you will find the optimal solution for a wide
range of TIG welding applications.
Designed for durability
The machines are equipped with the large OKC 50 cable
connectors for higher durability. The compact design, with its
impact resistant polymer and aluminium casing, is light and
easy to carry, yet the size does not compromise the important
cooling of the internal components. Large heat sinks and clever
design make for a cooler running machine with a longer life
expectancy when used in harsh working environments. The
design also helps to keep all sensitive parts inside the machine
clean and dust free. Caddy™ is built in accordance with IP23,
which means it can be used outdoors – even in the rain. The
control panels are easy to understand and use. The durable
design and the superior welding performance give you a
machine that you can rely on day after day.
Power factor correction - PFC
Caddy™ Tig 2200i AC/DC is equipped with a PFC circuit
making it possible to use the full range of the machine on a 16 A
fuse. The PFC also protects the machine against fluctuating
mains voltage and makes it safer to use with a generator.
Easy to use
Two alternative control panels are available.
Both have all the necessary functions for TIG DC, AC/DC and
MMA welding, all presented in an easy to understand layout.
The control panel Caddy™ TA34 AC/DC is the panel with the
advanced functionality, including PulseTIG. AC Balance is the
setting to control arc cleaning and penetration and AC
Frequency setting is to control arc width.
It also has a setting to control Electrode preheating with a
possibility to have different shapes of the electrode and at the
same time provide better starts with an extended life time of the
electrode.
The control panel Caddy™ TA33 AC/DC is the easy way to
weld AC and DC TIG. You only need to set the plate thickness,
and the machine will control the rest, allowing you to produce a
quality TIG weld.
Designed for high quality TIG-welding
In both DC and AC mode this TIG welding machine will give an
excellent arc strike and consistent, stable arc. All types of material and
thickness up to 5 mm can be welded with the highest quality.
AC welding with QWave™
One of the most important tasks of an AC TIG machine is to provide a
stable arc. The Caddy™ Tig 2200i AC/DC has the QWave™ function
which optimises the AC wave form to give a smooth arc and at the
same time the lowest possible noise without compromising the weld
result.
This machine also has True AC rating where the actual welding current
is always equal to the set current.
