We apply principles that yield better results and superior charac-teristics to as many components as possible. For example, we use dual beam contacts in all our connectors, even in the small 0.8mm grid. In addition to secure electrical contact, the dual-beam contacts improve the connector’s mechanical qualities.Connectors do not jam due to single-sided pressure. They have greater tolerance and can be easily connected and disconnected.Solid signal and high-current contacts are now punched andformed in a single operation. These contacts have higher precisionand stability, making them safer and mechanically more robust.With this redesign, we have developed a new generation of D-Sub components that define a new standard built upon this classicconnector type. The high current contacts of the D-Sub connectors exemplify the high precisionand solid construction of thenew generation of ERNI connectors.
