2.54 mm Type B and C connectors feature the world's most frequently used connectors.
ERNI manufactures these connectors on own automatedmachines. These machines incorporateComputer Aided Quality Assurance (CAQ). Type Q and
R connectors are inverted. An inverted connector refers to a “role reversal” of the male
and female connectors. With
the standard type (B, C), themale connector is assigned tothe daughter card. With the inverted type (Q, R), the femaleconnector is mounted on thedaughter card.Modules B, C, Q, R Half (1/2) connectors:These designs have half as
many contacts as the standard
module. A complete interfaceconnector system is also avail-able for these connectors.Modules: B/2, C/2, Q/2, R/2One-third (1/3) connectors:These modules have a maxi-mum of 10 contacts per row,
and are intended for applica-tions where minimal space isavailable. Versions without a
flange are also available.Modules: B/3, C/3, Q/3, R/3 ERNI will supply versions witha pick-and-place pad in tape-
and-reel packaging upon request. This also makes fullyautomatic assembly with SMTpick-and-place robots possi-
ble. The high temperature-resistant thermoplastic of theinsulator body allows all conventional SMT solderingprocesses to be used.Modules:C, C/2, C/3, CD, R, R/2, R/3,RD
The DIN 41612/IEC 60603-2connector line from ERNI includes standard connectorsand customer-specific conec-
tor technology solutions. The standard and invertedconnectors for printed circuits
correspond to national and international standards. Allconnectors have the same installation requirements, re-gardless of differing applicationcharacteristics. This connector
line includes modules with a
high contact density for lowvoltages; and modules with alow contact density for high
voltages. In addition to thestandard types, ERNI offers awide variety of versions and
