Type B and C connectors
feature the world's most
frequently used connectors.
ERNI manufactures these
connectors on own automated
machines.
These machines incorporate
Computer Aided Quality
Assurance (CAQ). Type Q and
R connectors are inverted.
An inverted connector refers
to a “role reversal” of the male
and female connectors. With
the standard type (B, C), the
male connector is assigned to
the daughter card. With the
inverted type (Q, R), the female
connector is mounted on the
daughter card.

Half (1/2) connectors:
These designs have half as
many contacts as the standard
module. A complete interface
connector system is also available
for these connectors.
Modules: B/2, C/2, Q/2, R/2
One-third (1/3) connectors:
These modules have a maximum
of 10 contacts per row,
and are intended for applications
where minimal space is
available. Versions without a
flange are also available.

reel packaging upon
request. This also makes fully
automatic assembly with SMT
pick-and-place robots possible.
The high temperatureresistant
thermoplastic of the
insulator body allows all
conventional SMT soldering
processes to be used.

connectors for printed circuits
correspond to national and
international standards. All
connectors have the same
installation requirements, regardless
of differing application
characteristics. This connector
line includes modules with a
high contact density for low
voltages; and modules with a
low contact density for high
voltages. In addition to the
