The module is used for conversion of signais from résistive bridge coupled transducers to sériai ASCII-data {RS-232/RS-485). The module includes loadcell excitation, lowdrift amplifier, 16-bits programmable A/D-converter, 3 programmable relay outputs and a fast microcontroller for sériai communication and internai supervising. Communication canbemade withASCII-protocolorCOMLI-protocol. LCT-1 is powered by 24 VDC and is well suited for Connecting to modem PLC-systems, process computers etc. The module has 3 relay outputs with fast (100 Hz) comparision to programmable set values. Since the conversion rate is very high (Intemaly 4 kHz) the module is very useful for both fast weighing applications like dosing scales, weight fillers. checkweighers and slow weighing like tank and siloweighing. LCT-1 has both RS-232 interface and RS-485 interface. When the RS-485 interface is used then 15 mo- dules can be connected to the same line. An unique address is set for each module. Thrue the Master/Slave communication function multidrop can be used even if only RS-232 interface is available.
