Protection NEWS Pro34/7.2008 The innovative terminal junction box - Ensto Cubo G - has been added to our product range. The box is designed to meet the requirements of industrial users, with many innovative features. The Ensto Cubo G (ordering number GPCM090905G) is made of high quality UL-recognized polycarbonate reinforced with fibreglass to add rigidity. The box has a high impact class of IK 08 guaranteeing that the product is suitable for demanding conditions. The junction box is a compact 93 x 93 x 50 mm in size. The colour of the product, including the cover, is grey, RAL 7035. The box has metric knockouts of size M20 in the bottom and all four sides of the base part. The knockouts on the sides also have drilling marks for M25 holes. Innovative construction The Ensto Cubo G junction box has no gasket, keeping the price low. The high degree of protection class, IP 66, has been achieved by the innovative construction of the cover. No cover screws are needed. The cover has a snap-in fit which can be secured by using cover screws included in the product package. The box is equipped with fixed fastening lugs. The terminals can be mounted onto a DIN rail or directly onto the base with mounting pods. The picture shows an Ensto Cubo G junction box with two Ensto Clampo Compact terminals (KR8031), an end plate for direct mounting (PMR143) and four M20 size cable glands (KTM24.20).
