In addition, any dents or bumps are not as noticeable in plastic as theywould be in steel. The degree of protection of all Ensto Cubo thermoplastic enclosures is at least IP 65. Polycarbonate is suitable for demanding conditions and also for outdoor use. The temperature | | resistance of polycarbonate ranges from -50 °C to +120 °C. For enclosure industrial production, we use only UL-listed polycarbonate raw materials, which have the so-called Yellow Card. The bases of polycarbonate enclosures with knock-outs have been reinforced with fibreglass in order to add rigidity to the enclosure walls and to make it easier to knock out Ranges and cable entries.
