| | | Verify the presence of targets that can be differentiated by color, faster and with greater control. The ColorMax-1000 FLEX sensor has a high-intensity white LED that projects modulated light on the target. The reflection from the target is analyzed for the constituent RGB value and intensity. It is used to verify that the right parts are present and assembled correctly. | | Applications • Automotive assembly, parts • Packaging, pharmaceutical, • Plastic and rubber parts • Electronic components • Paper labels, printing ColorMax-1000 FLEX Design and Features • Fastest response time • Highest resolution Data logging upon external • Exclusive M30 housing • Auto-teach and manual • Sop histicated algorithms • PC-based configuration • USB / RS-232 interface ^ ss from | | |

| | | FLEX to meet the resolution and speed requirements of advanced manufacturing. The ColorMax-1000 FLEX was designed to meet several requirements. First it had to have the ability to ignore the "luster" of shiny targets. Second, it had to have fast response and high resolution to distinguish between slight color variations at high speeds. Third, it had to be easy to install and adjust. Finally, it had to store many colors in memory to reduce the number of sensors required for an application. Our design team achieved those requirements and more. In addition the ColorMax FLEX provides two methods of communicating data to external acquisition systems. First, by activating the external trigger input, the sensor will transmit the current measurement in a serial format. Second, a datalogging feature in the Application Program provides a means of storing data to a file that can be imported into a spreadsheet for further analysis. This is the only color sensor in a standard M30 housing, familiar to any engineer who has worked with proximity sensors. The threaded housing is easy to install, and distance is adjusted simply by turning the sensor. Up to 4unique color channels that are stored in non-volatile memory and compared against a target color—nearly twice as many colors as other sensors. Low color variation of 0.5% and switching frequency of 20 kHz are the best specs in the industry. They provide the performance required for demanding applications. | | |
