Founded in 1933, EMCÉ initiall y manufactured co n c r ete mill s a n d m ate ri a l li fts fo r t h e co n st r uc -t i on i n d ustry. D ur i ng t h e 60 ’ s, t h e company d ecided to specialise in the fi eld of winches, w hich alread y were an im p ortant p art o f the material lifts

i n genera l . E MCÉ is p art of the Stokvis Holdin g Grou p of c ompanies, with the head o ffi ce also located at Voorhout - Holland, only 15 minutes away from A msterdam Schiphol Airport. The Stokvis Holding G rou p em p lo y s over 400 p eo p le divided over 12 di ff erent com p anies. The g rou p o f com p anies re p resents a solid unit o f entities that com p lementone another, and who have established their range of activities in the following sectors: transmissions ( e l ectr i c /p neumat i c /hyd rau li c motors, g ear b oxes, c ou p lin g s, etc.) and controls, internal trans p ort e qui p ment, automotive equi p ment, winches andhoisting equipment.
