The OPTICAM 34 is an hydraulic driven machine for cutting-ring assembly with SPC control forfinal pre-assembly and (optional) for pre-assembly of cutting rings, i.e. all customary kinds of as- sembly used throughout the market can be carried out. Equipment and techniques: ·Fully automatic adjustment of programmes, i.e. when counter plate (supporting plate) is in-serted, the programme is adjusted by a 5-hole code. The check is carried out by sensors.·An alphanumeric display shows all data necessary for the assembly. ·SPC (storage-programmable control) for total supervision and control of the chosen kind ofassembly. Process controi and documentation are possible.·100 % assembly security by process control, i.o. the programme is chosen via PC by EMB (mayalso be done by user); thereby, the control is capable of carrying out assemblies by absolute control. Faults such as cutting ring upside-down, deviation of dimensions within the different parts, worn-out tools and faulty preparation of the tube are identified and shown via display and indi- cated by red signal (lamp). Correct assembly is indicated by green signal (lamp).·The great advantage of this machine is the controlled final assembly of cutting rings. All youneed is cutting rings ready for final assembly, such as the EMB DS ring. Final assembly means that the cutting ring cuts into the tube by 100 % while being controlled (control of pressure and distance). The final turning in the stud is only 30° (starting from pressure point).·Controlled pre assembly of cutting rings is possible (= 50% of the cutting-in process) for allstandard kinds of cutting rings used throughout the market.·You have the option of choosing up to 9 different programmes for cutting rings (1 -9) via thekeyboard. This means there is an enormous range of different kinds of assembly, materials, brands, etc., that may be chosen.
