End terminals Colour codes

Elpress pre-insulated and un-insulated end terminals are manufactured from tin plated, electrolytic 99.95%copper tubes. The end terminals have dimensions in ac- cordance with DIN 46228 (with a few ex-ceptions, see tables). The pre-insulated sleeves are made of PP, polypropylene, and have a conical EasyEntry, inside shape.Elpress end terminals are used when a perfect connectionis required,for example,to a screw terminal block. The strands are kept together and connecting screws will not damage the strands. Long lasting contact forces are easier to achieve.When using the appropriateElpress ratchet crimp tools a connectionwith approvalto VDE 0609 is achieved.In addition to the pre-insulated end termi-nals shown in the tables, we also offer similar terminals with other commonly used colour codings systems as well as terminals above 50 mm² when needed.
