Infra-red rays are invisible to the human eye. To make them visible, a camera is required that issensitive to electromagnetic waves with length
between 800 and 1000 nm with lens shielded against visible light, connected to a monitor. The infra-red rays are projected into a graduated screen through the lens in question and the spot produced is observed on the monitor.

Uni es sichtbar zu machen, benôtigtman eine Kamera mit Sensibilitâtfùrelektromagnetische Wellen mit einer Lânge von 800 bis 1000 nm, sowie mit einem gegen sichtbares Licht abgeschirmten Objektiv, angeschlossen an einen Monitor Die Infrarotstrahlungen werden ùber diebesagte Linse auf einen abgestuften Schirm projiziert und der Punkt ùber den Monitor betrachtet.
L'infrarosso è invisibile all'occhio umano. Per renderlo visibile occorrono una telecamera sensibile alle onde e.m. di lunghezze da 800 a 1000 nm con
obiettivo schermato alle luci visibili, collegata ad un monitor. Le irradiazioni infrarosse vengono proiettate su uno schermo graduato attraverso la lente in esame e lo spot prodotto viene osservato sul monitor.
