These relays permit implemention of self-monitoring systems. Complying with the European standard EN50205, a relay with forcibly guided contacts consists of at least one N.C. and one N.O. contact. Break and make contact must never be closed at the same time during the entire life of the relay. In case of a fault the contact gap must be at least 0.5 mm.
