| At present a third numeral is defi ned by the French standard UTE C20 010. This is a classification number system ranging from 0 - 9 which is used to defi ne the protection against impact. (Example: IP 559) Eldon enclosures types AS and CS(S) / CD(S) can withstand an impact of 60 Joules, thereby tripling the old standards.
