General information

The first generation electrodes have their ionising components directly connected to the high voltage. This new type of electrodes calls upon the accumulation of capacitative loads at the level of each point. The corona effect is obtained as soon as the capacity is saturated. The advantage of the procedure is to avoid disturbances caused by accidental contact with the switched-on electrodes. These electrodes are compact and small, and are easily installed in all equipment. Practically indestructible when connected to a high voltage generator, they have an excellent ionic yield and remarkable efficiency. A U-shaped aluminium profile holds an insulating bar, through which passes a highly insulated high voltage cable, in which the ionisation points are inserted. The ionising effect is particularly efficient because of an optimal ratio between points, insulation material and the electrode earth. The various components have been designed with the greatest care and selected to avoid any untimely deterioration. ECA 88 BS design
Of a similar design to the ECA 88 B, this version stands out by the use of a tubular profile in aluminium acting as an expansion chamber for the compressed air. The air is supplied by MMA A NNUUF F A A C C TTUUR R E E R R
prestolock instant unions. Their position varies according to the length of the active part (see distribution table on the back of this sheet) in order to obtain a homogenous air curtain.
