INTRODUCTION
EFS8326/27
The EFS 8326 and EFS 8327 power supplies manufacturer are current sources delivering a sinusoidal output isolated from the network at a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz, adjustable either from 0 to 170 A (EFS 8326), or from 0 to 1300 A (EFS 8327).
Each power supply is adjustable within 5 ranges:
EFS8326 : 0.8 A / 2.5 A/18 A/60 A/170 A EFS8327 : 40 A/125 A/250 A/650 A/1300 A

APPLICATIONS
Used for testing devices with thermal, magnetothermal and magnetic triggering systems such as relays, circuit breakers or bimetallic strip industrial thermometers.
USE
The EFS 8326 or EFS 8327 power supplies are each housed in a cabinet (800x1200x1600).
The control panel, situated on the front door, is equipped with an emergency punch-stop button enabling activation of the isolation command.
The operator is equipped with a keyboard used for choosing the functioning mode (local, external, bus) and the range as well as for frequency and cycle management.
A potentiometer allows parameter adjustment. 3 displays provide the user with essential information: «duration or 1/2 period*, «current» and «output voltage».
MAIN FUNCTIONS
z
m <
• displays precise measurements of the current and the output voltage.
• carries out complete test cycles
(beats, ramps,time slots... ) with a resolution
ai • 1
of 1/2 a period (duration of the control system loop).
• user protection provided by numerous safety features (insulation, emergency stops) but also power supply protection (overloads).
• operated manually (keyboard and digital potentiometer on the front panel) or by an external system:
- either via isolated On-Off inputs and outputs and an analog input
- or by a MODBUS link.
