WinCollect 5 is the latest installment of Ecotech’s long running WinCollect series of
environmental data management packages. WinCollect 5 has redeveloped its data download,
validation and alarm triggering capabilities creating the most stable, streamlined and easy to
use package on the market.
The new data management capabilities are combined with WinCollect’s proven reporting
module, which gives users the power to create “Company Specific” reports. These reports can
be presented as data reports, graphical reports or a combination of the two.
The development of WinCollect 5 has also seen the introduction of a new Web Display module.
The Web Display module, allows users to create a customisable website that can display GIS,
Time plots, Wind Roses, Scatter plots and simple X Y plots.

WinCollect 5 has advanced data collection capabilities which allow downloading of data from a
wide range of industry leading data loggers, through a variety of different methods. WinCollect 5
is able to download from multiple stations at once, downloading data from large monitoring
networks in minutes. WinCollect can be scheduled to automatically download data, and when
combined with automatic report generation, the entire reporting cycle can be automated.
WinCollect 5 has flexibility in how it downloads data. WinCollect can download data over 3G/
Next G networks, via modems, radio, satellites or through dialup phone lines, ethernet networks
and directly from Serial port (RS-232).
WinCollect 5 has the ability to download from a wide variety of loggers including from companies
such as: Ecotech, Datataker, Opsis, Campbell Scientific, Met One, Thermo and many more.
WinCollect’s innovative data collection facilities also provides for customers the ability to write
their own drivers to talk to almost any logger.
