Product Configuration Adapter The EE-PCA enables the communication between a PC and E+E transmitters and probes. In combination with the free and intuitive Product Configuration Software EE-PCS, it is used for setup and configuration of E+E measurement devices. EE-PCA scope of supply Depending on device, the configuration may include: • Selection of physical quantities at the outputs • Output scaling • Adjustment / calibration • Relay settings • Selection of measurement units • Display settings • Modbus communication settings The scope of supply includes the converter unit, USB and RS232 connection cables and an additional power adapter. Setup Connection to PC The EE-PCA is connected to the PC via either USB or RS232 connection cable. • For RS232 connection the EE-PCA shall be used with the provided power adapter. • For USB connection the EE-PCA is powered through the USB port. In this case the power adapter is not necessary. Connection to E+E measuring devices The connection cable depends on the E+E measuring device. It is not included in the EE-PCA scope of supply and must be ordered separately (see ordering guide). Power supply according to device, see respective data sheet. No power supply required for EE300Ex, EE03, EE07 and EE08 type D.
