A systems designer on footprint requirements:“Small and compact, the Dräger Polytron 7000 is easily mounted to fit into tight spaces.” Dräger polytron 7000: with an internal pump module*

ST-3947-2003

In applications where the gas source ishard to reach, a sampling pump may be required. The Dräger Polytron 7000 offers an internal pump module as an option.*Having a built in pump requires noadditional space, saving on footprint and additional wiring cost. With the optional alarm relay module, thetransmitter is able to operate as a stand- alone unit.* This allows to install alarm devices at the point of detection, withouthaving to run signal wires to a centralcontroller and power wires back to strobes or horns. In all applications, where the sensor has tobe mounted remotely from the professional transmitter, the Dräger Polytron 7000 remote sensor module can be installed at a distance up to30 m / 100 ft. Alternatively there is a duct mount kit formounting the transmitter directly onto aduct. For all cases, where direct measure- ment of the gas concentrations inside aduct or pipe is required. The Dräger Polytron 7000 is compatiblewith the PDA m515-Ex. The PDA can be used to configure the transmitter, transferconcentration data to a PC and for thecopying of one configuration to another transmitter (‘cloning’). All these functions are available for versions with display orwithout display.
