F6051 ® IRIG-B Converter The F6051 is a compact IRIG-B time protocol converter designed to meet industry and security standards by providing precise time synchronization. With the F6051, interior time stamping is possible. This lightweight, portable device is used with Doble’s F-Series equipment and accepts modulated or demodulated signals from station satellite clocks. The F6051 generates a 1pps signal used for accurate time stamping. Applications • For interior use If you are unable to run a satellite antenna cable outside because doors and window cannot be opened for prolong periods due to CIP compliance concerns • End-to-end testing Ideal for end-to-end testing in locations where an IRIG-B source is available • Phasor measurement units Useful for testing of PMUs per IEEE standard C37.118 • IEC61850 compliant testing Capable of IEC compliant testing where time stamped requirements are a must for Goose and Sampled Values message monitoring and evaluation
