We are continuously testing and improving our complete range of impeller geometries in the most diverse assembly situations and for the most diverse requirements in our companies aero dynamical laboratory. Besides a general optimisation of the effi ciencies and fl uid dynamical features of the plug fans by using modern CFD simulation software and FEM calculation methods, the emphasis is thereby on the research of aerodynamically induced sound sources and in the avoiding of distinct frequency peaks.
