SuprMotr The Supr- controllers, for instance,incorporate uncommitted digital andanalog I/O lines, so that a separate assembly is not required in many applications. This feature not only reduces cost, but simplifies integration of the motion with other parameters and signals.The family of products fromDIVA Automation are characterized bytheir incorporation of related functions normally required in typical applica- tions of the product, but not normally included in competitive products. Our Supr " featureconsists of optically coupled inputsfrom limit switches to preventaccidental motion beyond safe physi-cal operating limits. The active state of the limit switches may be modified by on-board jumpers. When a limit switch is activated, no further drive is possible in the direction of that switch. However, drive in the opposite direc- tion is unaffected.It accepts TTL-level PWM magni-tude and direction inputs to drive motors bidirectionally.Four bi-color LEDs indicate signalactivity.A line receiver converts differen-tial encoder signals to single ended.A companion product, the SuprAmpA , performs a similarfunction using an analog driver withlower efficiency, but is recommended for applications that are sensitive to electrical noise.
