7/ Settings screen (options)

1 . Locking ON settings locked (screens can be browsed but not changed) OFF settings unlocked2. Français or English = Other versions: Deutsch-English; Italiano-English; Espanol-English3. Shc test ON :?Tests of outputs through 1.2-ms pulses at powerup. Full test duration 14 ms. ? In the event of a short or overload, the LED blinks and the following message is displayed on the screen:Err.Output12345Amark shows the overloaded channels.Click to return to the option settings. Test CC OFF :At powerup, the short circuit test is not made (the outputs are still protected).
Remark : If one or more outputs are faulty, all outputs remain in protection mode until the next powerup.5. S to Ext Mem: click and the settings are saved in the external E2PROM. Ld Ext data: click and the settings in the external E2PROM are copied to the internal E2PROM. The sensor restarts automatically. These 2 lines only appear if the external E2PROM is present at powerup. 6 . Contrast = xx click and turn the button/knob to change the display contrast.

Protection of static outputs

Full protection against short-circuits, overloads, capacitive or inductive loads.If the current supplied by the 5 or 6 outputs exceeds 800 mAfor over 0.5 seconds:? The LED blinks? Remark: ?When the screen shows "overload static out", all screens can be accessed by clicking on the button/knob.? Every 2 seconds, the Clarys amplifier tries to restart the outputs. If the test is OK, it resumes normal operation. Otherwise, if the fault lastsfor more than one minute, the 5 or 6 outputs remain in protection mode until the next powerup.

Use of the external E2PROM

1. Configure a machine B Clarys amplifier as that of a machine A: ? Install the E2PROM of machine Aon machine B? Power up? In the "Options" menu, execute command "Ld Ext data" 2. Save the sensor setup (e.g. for traceability): ? Adjust the sensor settings? In the "Options" menu, activate the function "S to Ext Mem" ? Remove and store the E2PROM3. Apply the setting tests without saving them and return to the initial setup: ? In the "Options" menu, activate the function "S to Ext Mem" ? Perform the settings? Activate the function "Ld Ext data" to restore the previous settings
