This cost effective line has made the O.E.M.able to produce in-house the whole family ofstaircase steps previously subcontracted. Line performances : From 3 ton coils, manufacturingof thick gauge parts (up to 4 mm).Part size range : - length from 800 to 2000 mm, - width from 40 to 500 mm. Average output : 2 m/min. Avantages of the solution : Depending on the shape to punch and its location, the system selects either, one of the two symmetrically adjustable C framed 10 ton hydraulic punching stations, or, one of the two 80 ton punching or embossing column guided hydraulic tools. The “Multistep” DIMECO patented technology allows the system to produce parts of different lengths and patterns one after each other withno scraps nor stop.The punched strip is then cut with a hydraulic shear and the cut to length parts are stacked on a 3 ton lifting table equipped with automa- tic stack levelling. The parts are then bended on a separate cell.
