DeZURIK KGC Valves have a unique packing system that ensures a long-life tight seal with minimal packing gland pressure. The packing system is available for general, moderate, severe and high temperature applications. The machined packing chamber and an anti-extrusion ring form the base of this system. The system is completed by careful selection of the packing material. The temperature, pH, and media properties will determine the most suitable option.
Anti-extrusion ring guides the gate, makes the packing work better, reduces friction and acts as a gate wiper.
The stuffing box is machined relative to the seat minimizing seat and external leakage simultane-
ously.
Optional “live loaded” packing energizes the TFE braid while providing an extra tight elastomeric seal. The stem has fine pitch to maximize mechanical advantage.Strong Investment Cast Clip
