DEWE-xxx-DSA ... Flexibility as needed
Noise. Vibration. Shock. Recording. These parameters require a DSA (dynamic signal analyzer). That means that the front-end is made exactly to interface with accelerometers and microphones. It also means 24 bit resolution, simultaneous
sampling, and anti-aliasing filtering. DEWETRON builds analyzers for dynamic data, in a variety of form factors. There are standard models from 4 to 48 channels and all run the same easy-to-use software which is suitable for professional users as well as for occasional ones.
Modal Analysis - There is a wide range of applications in the fields of structural analysis, machinery diagnosis and industrial acoustics. For example modal analysis is needed in every modern construction. The measurement of system parameters, called modal parameters, is essential to predict the behavior of a structure. These modal parameters are needed also for mathematical models. Parameters like resonant frequency(s), structural damping, and mode shapes are experimentally measured and calculated. DEWETRON provides a complete modal package (hard and software) which is adapted to your application. Starting up from 8 channels used for maintenance, service and troubleshooting
till up to 1000 channels used for complex structures. The easy-to-use software is suitable for professional and occasional users.
Rotational and Torsional Vibration - Rotating machines and engines are sources of Rotational and Torsional Vibration. Rotational vibration is a result of the change in shaft speed during one revolution and torsional vibration is due to angular twist in the shaft or drive train which may cause fatigue. DEWETRON dynamic signal analyzers
are all in one measurement instruments which enable you to observe vibration, force, strain, voltage, current, power, CAN data, rotational and torsional vibration at the same time.
Ord
er Tracking - Very often errors and unobvious faults on rotating machines can be seen easier during the run up and run down. One method to analyze these conditions is order tracking. With this method you can separate frequency components which are related to engine speed and which are related to structure.
Ba
lancing - Another typical DSA application is balancing. It is well-known that the vibrations of the steering wheel of a car depend on different speeds. But why? Why are some machines louder than others although they work at the same speed? And why do vibrations on the chassis of rotating machines occur depending on certain speeds?
One of the reasons for all these phenomena is unbalance. Very often unbalance reduces the lifespan of machines, which causes very high service costs or in some cases even the end of life of the machines. DEWETRON DSA instruments
provide a very easy to use and straightforward tool for single and dual plane balancing.
