The KMX-144 keyboard is one of a series of keyboards designed by Devlin Electronics specifically to improve operator efficiency in industries such as newspaper, pre-press and publishing, call centre, financial, mass transit ticketing and other specified appli- cations.This keyboard retains the familiar 105 position UK IBM PC keylayout whilst incorporating an additional 40 “macro” keys. These can be customised to suit the individual user application in both keytop colour and legend, thus maximising the efficiency of the keyboard layout.The KMX 144 incorporates up to 4 different built-in operatingsystems and is capable of switching automatically between various protocols, without any hardware modifications. The keyboard can be used with PC, Apple Mac, RS6000 and Sun computers, plus SII and Atex terminals.
