Cables are different for counting tools. The CESL6 Brushless Screwdrivers are wired for use exclusively with the BECT626-SSO controller. These drivers have the same features as the ESL6 series 32V DC drivers (pg 6). Tools include a 2m long, 6-pin cable. The rear panel of BECT626-SSO incorporates the main power switch, a screwdriver Hi/Lo speed selection switch, and the connectors for both the AC power cord and the tool cable. The front panel houses a receptacle for input-output connections. The mating connector is included and has screw terminals for ease of customer interface. Outputs are available for rundown Good, rundown No Good, and Batch Complete. An input can be supplied for ‘part in place’ to enable the screwdriver when the part is confirmed ready to be assembled. Parameters are set-up on the BECT6-SSO using the four button keypad and LED display panel. A simple program loop provides access to settings for slow start speed and time, batch count quantity, and min/max allowable rundown times. During normal operation, the large two-digit display shows the current screw count value and also provides visual LED indication of whether the rundown was Good or No Good based on the time window parameters that are programmed into the controller by the user.
